The technical lift is doing this correctly: three in-prompt examples that cover English, Spanish, and Russian across three niches anchor the model's multilingual quality. We validated 23/25 GREEN across five niches and five launch locales before shipping.

Each locale ships with full UI translation, hreflang alternates, locale-appropriate date formats, and ICU plurals for the trial countdown.
For quiz content (the questions, results, share quotes), the model generates in 30+ languages — anything Sonnet 4.6 writes well.

The same prompt produces a coherent quiz in each language, not a literal translation:

Audience UI follows the quiz's language
When someone takes your Russian quiz, the player's Start, Next, and Share buttons are in Russian — regardless of what their browser language is. Same for every other locale. Your audience never sees a mixed-language interface.
What we don't do (yet)
- Arabic and other RTL languages — the share-card rasterizer can't shape Arabic ligatures correctly yet. RTL infrastructure is in place; the canvas-API fallback ships in v1.1.
- Translated legal pages in markets we haven't shipped to — privacy and terms are translated in all 13 launch locales, but the underlying jurisdiction (Malaysia) is consistent.

Frequently asked
Can I write the prompt in one language and force the quiz output in another?
Not directly — the model generates in the prompt's language. If you want a Spanish quiz, prompt in Spanish.
What if my audience is bilingual?
Pick one language for the quiz. Bilingual audiences engage with content in their dominant language; ship in that one.
Does multilingual cost extra?
No. Generation cost is the same regardless of language.
What languages outside the 13 launch locales work for quiz content?
Anything Sonnet 4.6 writes well — typically 30+ including Polish, Turkish, Thai, Tagalog, Swedish, Dutch, and more. UI text falls back to English for non-launch locales.
